Technical cases

Problem. Diagnosis. Engineering. Outcome.

Some engagements require confidentiality. These anonymized cases show how we structure diagnosis and solution without exposing clients or environments.

01Middleware Reliability

Widespread performance degradation across 20+ application servers

Problem

Applications degraded and multiple managed servers entered warning state, putting shared-domain services at risk.

Diagnosis

Thread dumps showed threads stuck in HTTP calls. Log correlation traced the dependency to an internal load balancer with abnormal CPU usage.

Intervention

The immediate load balancer issue was addressed and workload isolation was introduced to reduce cross-application impact.

Outcome

Service was restored and the environment became more resilient to recurrence of the same failure class.

02Cloud & Modernization

Cloud migration with continuity as a design constraint

Problem

Legacy workloads need to move without turning the platform change into an operational risk.

Diagnosis

Assessment of dependencies, capacity, architecture, change windows and availability requirements.

Intervention

Selection of lift-and-shift, replatforming or modernization strategy with HA, observability and migration planning.

Outcome

A structured transition focused on predictability, performance, governance and continuity.

03Observability & Automation

From manual reaction to repeatable diagnostics

Problem

Troubleshooting routines dependent on manual evidence collection increase MTTR and create inconsistent diagnoses.

Diagnosis

Mapping the evidence required for recurring incidents and the monitoring points already available.

Intervention

Automation of health checks, log and metric collection, evidence gathering and technical reporting using scripts and observability tools.

Outcome

Faster response, more consistent data and greater ability to act preventively.
